Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 10th 2023

The Kennard Alumni Association invites you to Queen Anne’s County’s annual Juneteenth Celebration on Saturday, June 10th 2023, from 10am-4pm. The event will take place at the Kennard African American Cultural Heritage Center and Museum, 410 Little Kidwell Avenue, Centreville, MD.

This year’s event will expand our vendor/exhibitor selection, offer additional new entertainment, include audience participation, expanded food offerings, and children’s play area.  We will also have a dedication ceremony, celebrating the opening of Kennard’s new “African American History Resource Library” and Community Awards presentations.  This year’s Juneteenth event will also offer seminars, exhibitions, and of course, the wonderful exhibitions of the “Kennard African American History Museum.”

There will be a Juneteenth Parade beginning at QACHS at 10am.
