Water’s Edge: Black Watermen of the Chesapeake

You’re invited to be a special Black History Month screening of MPT’s “Water’s Edge” at Kennard African American Cultural Heritage Center and Museum on February 17, 2024. The screening will begin at 1pm, immediately followed by the Q&A session with the documentary’s participants. We are looking forward to your presence and participation at this marvelous presentation.

This documentary aligns with Kennard’s mission to help tell the wonderful story of Black Watermen and their contributions to the history of our county, state, and the “Chesapeake Bay”. This event will also provide funding for Kennard’s Scholarship Program through your donations and sponsorships. While the event is free to the public, because of seating limitations, you must have a ticket.
