Experience an Eastern Shore Tradition at the inaugural Kennard Alumni Association and Stories of the Chesapeake Heritage Area Bull, Oyster Roast, and Fish Fry on October 13, 2018 at the Kennard High School Cultural Heritage Center. Oyster roasts and fish fries are a long-standing tradition that celebrates the bounty of one of North Americas oldest working landscapes. Feast on pit beef and fired oysters by Paul Gunther, and fish fry by Melvin Shorter all while supporting programs to preserve, promote, and interpret the Eastern Shore’s cultural, natural, and historic resources. Oysters on the half shell from Harris Seafood and local desert bar will be available for purchase.
